I freelance on trumpet, write for and record trumpet and other brass in my home studio, offer private tuition, run educational workshops, arrange and compose.

I began my musical journey aged 4 years with my local village brass band and then, in my late teens, I discovered jazz and improvisation and went on to study for a degree in music at the University of Salford majoring in jazz performance.

As a professional I have been lucky enough to work with many wonderful musicians in many different contexts and to have toured throughout Europe and around the world.

I am always looking for new opportunities to collaborate and create so whatever your project, live, studio, touring, jazz, folk, classical, pop, improv....you will of course be needing a trumpet!
