Solo trumpet plus electronics

I always remember one gig I turned down, it was an invitation to play a solo set at a night in Manchester. It sort of frightened me and confused me, what would I do, just me and my trumpet. I was offered an other opportunity to play solo more than a few later at the Art Gallery on Gotland and this time, though still nervous, I took it and loved it. This became Proof of the Pudding where I combine solo trumpet with a selection of effect pedals including octave, harmoniser and looper. The show is between 20 and 30 mins long and is almost wholly improvised. It has also allowed me to collaborate with other musicians and artists and in a whole new way.
